Working moms: have you ever looked at your kids and wondered if your paycheck is worth how much you’re missing?

Going back to an office after four years of working remotely was fun at first. But eventually, the two-hour commute started to take its toll. I was leaving before my kids woke up and getting home at dinnertime.

I missed them. And they’re growing up way too fast.

I can always make more money. I can’t make more time.

So I quit my 9–5. 😳

Was that a good idea? We’ll see. Now I’m betting on myself as a content creator and finally going after my dream of getting paid to travel.

Follow along for the roller coaster. I’m going to do everything I can to make this work.

Before fall temps arrive, plan a fun-filled weekend with family in Asbury Park, NJ. We had a blast when we went. Here’s everything we did and where we ate 👉

Where we stayed:

📍 The Asbury Hotel @theasburyhotel

What we did:

☀️ Went to dog beach for an early morning dose of joy
🚲 Rode bikes along the boardwalk (before 10:00am)
👾 Had hours of fun at Silverball Retro Arcade Asbury Park @silverballasbury
🔮Shopped for crystals at @freedomrocksco. Also took home a card from the Mystery Tarot Vending Machine
👗 Went vintage shopping along Cookman and Main
⛳️ Played putt putt at Asbury Eighteen (or do you say mini golf?)
🛍️ Browsed local shops in Convention Hall @theasburyparkboardwalk

Where we ate:

🍕Pizza at Porta @portaasburypark
🐌 Probably the best escargot I’ve ever had, so delish we ordered a second one, at Pascal and Sabine. Steaks are good too. @pascalandsabine
🥤Milkshakes at Asbury Lanes Diner @asburylanesdiner
🍻Family dinner at Kim Marie’s Eat n Drink Away @kimmaries_nj
🥯Bagels + coffee from Cardinal Provisions @crdnal

We recently spent a fun-filled weekend with family in Asbury Park, NJ. This town is a short train ride from NYC and perfect for a quick getaway.

Where we stayed:

What we did:
