Nobody needs a box full of cheap, plastic toys from the dollar store or candy that stains lips blue. Save your money!
Can we normalize not giving kids goody bags full of junk that will be discarded in minutes? Isn’t cake enough? Now I have bits and bobs strewn around my house just waiting to be thrown away.
Drop a ❤️ down below if you agree with me.
What are some non-junk party favors you’ve either gifted or received? Let’s inspire each other to be a bit more mindful with birthday celebrations. I’ll go first in the comment 👇🏻

Let’s be real — no one plans to waste money. But those sneaky bank fees can add up fast. One overdraft here, a maintenance fee there, add in a few late fees…and suddenly your account is shrinking, not growing.
I’ve been there. I’ve made every single one of these mistakes in the past year 🙈 I have been debt free for 15+ years. When I lost my job of 16 years and was unemployed, I was distracted and my good money habits slipped. But here’s the good news—once you spot the leaks, you can patch them. I closed underperforming savings accounts and opened high-interest ones. I created a google calendar that shows ALL of our bill due dates. No more missed payments and late fees.
Do you ever wonder how some families seem to have it all figured out — no debt, growing savings, and guilt-free spending? It’s not magic — it’s smart financial habits. The good news? You can start building these habits today and create the financial freedom your family deserves. Download my free guide titled: 5 Habits of Debt-Free Families: Practical Tips to Achieve Financial Freedom and start saving money. Comment “HABITS” and I’ll send it to you.
Once you get your finances organized, you’ll have more $$ for what really matters — travel, takeout or that bag you’ve been eyeing (you know the one 😉).
Comment below with a fee that got you recently (no shame — we’ve all been there!).

Tucked inside @aristonflowers on 5th Ave, this place feels like a secret garden meets cozy café. You walk through the most magnificent bouquets you’ve ever seen, and just when you think it can’t get better—you find the little café in the back serving up lattes, pastries, and sandwiches (and amazingly, the most expensive thing is a $15 prosciutto mozzarella sandwich. In Manhattan!)
