Paying attention! Noticing when money came in and saying thank you.

Think abundance only means giant checks or huge raises? Think again. The first step of manifesting money is to notice when the Universe drops a little cash your way. It might not always be a huge check—it could be a surprise discount, finding $5 in your pocket, a refunded fee, or someone picking up your coffee. When you acknowledge even the smallest forms of abundance, you signal to the Universe that you’re open to receiving more.

Tracking these “small wins” builds awareness—and reinforces your belief that money flows to you.

So say thank you, do a happy dance, and keep your vibe (and wallet) open.

My most unlikely money moment was winning a friendly poker game while I was unemployed. That money allowed me to throw a birthday party for the kids. I def thanked the universe—and my friends—for that win 😆

While at the Superfine exhibit at the Met, my daughter noticed a kufi cap and asked if it was crocheted. I thought it was, and she sighed and said “I wish I knew how to crochet.” I told her I’d teach her.

🤯🤯🤯

She was shocked that I knew how to crochet, and even more shocked to learn that my mom had taught me. I don’t remember my mom crocheting much growing up, but my grandmother always had a needle and yarn close.

So here we are, crocheting in the park, and I love it. I’ve been so busy taking care of of others for so many years, I forgot how much I enjoyed making things.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by money sometimes, wondering how you will pay the bills. But this is your sign to pause, breathe and trust the universe (or your version of). Repeat these affirmations often and watch money flow into your life.

While we’d all like a $1M to show up in our bank account over night, the universe starts small. Start paying attention to the little amounts of money you receive—selling things around the house, unexpected checks in the mail, freelance work and finding money on the street are all ways the universe has your back. Instead of worrying about money, be fully present and enjoy life 💕
